Long weekend is on! The whole nation commemorates the 115th anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal’s martyrdom this Friday – Dec. 30 which also marked 150th year celebration. Expect Calamba Laguna will be joining this celebration as the hero’s birthplace in his shrine at its very own town plaza.

Great, we have already our own Rizal Monument at the park as one of the highlighted inauguration celebration this year where we have jogging and bonding moments along the area.

Rizal Day is yearly commemorate in our country to honor the martyrdom of Jose Rizal on Dec. 30, 1896 at around 7:03 am as he was was convicted of rebellion and shot at Bagumbayan (now Rizal Park).
In this remembrance, we can reflect and aware on Rizal’s legacy to continue reading his literature and thru his reading, it would spark an inspiration to new breed of young generation that can be the future of our catalyst.
