Rediscovering Calamba Laguna

Tahanan ni Aling Meding

What captured our attention also while vying the surround area of Sampaloc Lake is a big house which suppose to be a hotel within the area.  The name is Tahanan ni Aling Meding.

As I re-quote from their brochure:

Tahanan ni Aling Meding is a tribute to the Borja sibling’s parents especially their mother, Aling Meding, who kept heart and home warm.  The hotel is in fact  their very own estate for relaxation, family reunions and other events when they fly in from the States.

Curious as we are, we checked the place and stay to relax for the hefty yet fulfilling day that we have.

Since this is a vacation house turned into a hotel, the rooms are so limited.  Ten (10) the most as I interviewed the desk personnel in front who accommodated us.

They have family room situated on the fourth floor which accommodate almost 6 persons.  Cost is P 5,500.00 per night.

There was also an executive room which cost P 3,000.00 per night which will be fitted to family like us.  For other type of rooms, you can check this link, http://tahananhotel.com/rooms.php.

There is a back draft of the whole Sampaloc Lake along the terrace which is a come on for every room.

It is quite nice to put also your kid as your subject when you are describing the area. Boring as I may say if I will only describe the whole scene.  Anyway, one appreciate more the place if Jam is always there smiling.

For other amenities, they have a swimming pool which again have the whole view of Sampaloc lake at the top.

O my, do you love my model in the pool.  No other than Regina who always got this mood to pose as always.  LOL!

If not ready for a dip, one can only relax within the area as Raf is doing.

The whole place is also wifi powered .  They have also function rooms, conference rooms for business meeting or team building events.

The area is great for birthdays, weddings and baptismal celebration.

Again, we definitely come back.  We are planning to explore more the other lakes and this hotel would be a great resting place.

How to get here:  (again from the brochure)

Coming from Manila, after San Pablo border, stay on the Maharlika Highway.  You will see a Caltex station to the left, immediately before a fork in the highway.  The right side of the fork leads straight to Lucena, the left leads to San Pablo City Proper.  Take the left road.  At the junction to Calauan, take the main avenue to your right.  This is Rizal Ave.  Turn left at the corner of San Pablo Central School.  Follow the road beyond the City Hall.  As soon as you see the lake, turn left on the perimeter road (actually more of a sharp U-turn).  Tahanan will be to your left.

Disclaimer Note:

For those who would like to make further details about the resort, you may go to the link or contact information we have provided in this post.

Apparently, Calamba-Online (COL) made a review based on our experience as we visit the resort.  We are not at all connected nor being paid to all the establishment.  Again, please inquire directly from them.

Thanks for visiting…

Hi. This is a very nice site. Very interesting and very informative. However, the grammar and sentence construction sometimes make it difficult to understand. ?
